Give a Smile
For 26 years, some of the work Dr Anand is proudest of has never been invoiced. Give a Smile is the practice's quiet tradition of treating people in genuine need, at no cost.
The program
Some smiles are given
Every year, Align sets aside treatment for people whose circumstances have put dental care out of reach: families doing it tough, carers who always come last, young people whose confidence is waiting on a smile nobody can afford to fix.
There's no application form theatre and no publicity requirement. Someone writes to us about a person who deserves help; we listen, we meet them, and where we genuinely can, we treat them, quietly and completely.
If you know someone whose life a smile would change, tell us about them. That's the whole process.

How it works
How a smile is given
Tell us
Write a few honest lines about the person and their situation using the private form below, or call and ask for the Give a Smile program. Nominations are confidential.
We meet them
Dr Anand assesses what would genuinely help, exactly as he would for any patient: honestly, gently and without obligation.
We treat them
Where the program can take them on, treatment is provided at no cost. No cameras, no conditions, no invoice.
Places are limited by clinical time and are at the practice's discretion; nominating someone doesn't guarantee treatment, and we'll always be straight with you about what's possible.
Nominate someone
Tell us about them
You can nominate someone else, or ask on your own behalf; both are equally welcome. Everything here is read privately by the practice and shared with nobody.
